Two-spotted tree cricket - Neoxabea bipunctata

Two-spotted tree cricket - Neoxabea bipunctata
Arlington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
July 10, 2009
Seen in a field near a pond.

I agree with Andy, this is a tree cricket instar
This is a great photo of a young Two-spotted tree cricket. This is in the genus Neoxabea...so is the only one that has a brownish body when young. (entered by Wisconsin Oecanthinancy -- while at BugGuide Gathering 2009 :D )

maybe an immature tree cricket
Unless there's one that looks like that as an adult.
