Skippers aren't my strong point, but
this is definitely not
Poanes
. It is an
Atrytonopsis
. It's hard to be certain of species, because much of the front wing doesn't show, and there is no view from above. However, it looks like
A. deva
to me, which is common in the uplands in central and se. Arizona. Another option might be
A. vierecki
, but it seems perhaps a bit "off" for that one.
