You have the correct order an
You have the correct order and family, Platydesmida: Andrognathidae, which is where Brachycybe is placed, but this is a different platydesmid, I would say Gosodesmus ?claremontis Chamberlin because of its length and relatively short paranota. Rowland Shelley

New genus for BugGuide, then?
Thanks, Rowland. Unless I'm missing something, Brachycybe is the only genus of the Andrognathids recorded in BugGuide so far.
