3430 - Grapholita angeleseana
Did you mean July 12? This is the first record known to me for Maryland. The moth was described from New Jersey, and Scott Justice has a photo in the guide from tidewater Virginia. Bill Johnson also has a photo from Minnesota in the guide.
I've been waiting for you to post one of your excellent photos of a moth rarity from the southern end of our fair county. This is not one of the 1,000 species photographed at my home in north end Bowie.

Yes, 3430 - Grapholita angeleseana is a Tortricid moth.

Photo taken July 11th
I'm delighted that you are looking forward to my pics and that I photographed a rarity. I took this pic two days ago on July 11 at Piscataway Park. I cropped and posted it on July 12th. I walked into a swarm of these guys (100 or more) on the board walk.
