A small salticid roaming over the leaves of a thimbleberry


Moved from Dendryphantinae. Taxonomic changes have eliminated this subfamily; this is just a housekeeping move.

Moved from Jumping Spiders. Will frass when the ok is given that the taxa list for the Pack Forest gathering is ready.

Could also be
a couple different species of Pelegrina. Do you remember the size?

Hi Jay, this was a small specimens and I estimate it was at most 3mm long and most likely around 2mm

Bronze Jumper (Eris militaris)
is my guess.
