Many-lined Scoparia perhaps?

I also need some educating on my moths here! This guy looks almost identical to this guy here:


Except there's something very different going on with the head. Can someone explain? Thanks!!

ID to genus is tentative.

Scoparia and Eudonia are closely related and cannot always be told apart. I think this is Eudonia echo. See "Identification" info here. Not sure the example of Eudonia torniplagalis, which you referenced, is ID'd correctly, though I agree that it looks like the same species as yours. The head looks different to me due to size and shape of the palps which I'm not sure are not always a trustworthy indicator of ID. I'm probably adding little to what you may have already figured out.
