Probably ready to pupate
When a 4th-instar H. axyridis attaches its rear end to a flat surface and starts to arch its body, it's getting ready to pupate:


Yours looks like it's just starting the process, its rear abdominal segments are pressed down but it isn't arched very much.

In about 24 hours it will be a pupa, and about 5 days after than the adult will emerge.
