Found resting on red clover. Cuticle translucent; eyes deep red.

This is Acyrthosiphon pisum with a very well developed parasitoid larva inside.

aphid
of some type. I think the cornicles protruding from the rear-end are an aphid field mark.

Great image! You can even see the tracheae through the opaque cuticle! Amazing.
