Least Skipper -
Ancyloxypha numitor
Stafford, Stafford County, Virginia, USA
September 2, 2005
I was all excited today thinking I had seen one of the wetland or orange skippers but I think it may be a Least Skipper. Help with ID appreciated. I hope I am wrong. :)

Question
Bob, shouldn't it be numitor instead of arene or has there been a change? When I moved my image I noticed all the images in the guide from the east coast were Ancyloxpha numitor.

Skipper
My apologies for the typo Joanne. It is indeed numitor, arene is the tropical Least. :)
