Another Red Dragonfly - Sympetrum illotum

Another Red Dragonfly - Sympetrum illotum
Silverton, Marion County, Oregon, USA
July 15, 2009
Size: 2 1/2 inches
I found this Dragonfly perched in exactly the same spot as the Cardinal Meadowhawk you all helped me identify. My question is, is this the same kind of Dragonfly? The colors of the Dragonfly seem less red, more brownish? It was approximately 8:00 am and the perch is amongst berry bushes. Thanks for any help!
