per Lois O'Brien, a single species in our area (all the US records of N. florens refer to N. florida); 13 spp. total(1)
Identification
The ridges (carinae) on the thorax curve towards the hind margin of the pronotum and meet in a point in this genus (parallel in Rhynchomitra); black spots just below the tip of the head are distinctive. [Andy Hamilton]
