Explanation of Names
Author of genus is Boisduval, 1836. (Jean de Boisduval 1801-1879, see UNL.) Greek dryas or dryad is a mythological wood-nymph (spirit). I presume the prefix -eu is also Greek, meaning "good, well, or true". (Based on Internet searches.)
