Shovel-faced Beetle -
Ataenius strigatus
Alexandria, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
July 17, 2009
Size: 4.3 mm
This little beetle landed, conveniently, on white paper I had out to shoot stag beetles on. Attracted to my patio light at night.
