Pseudomasaris coquilletti - female

Pseudomasaris coquilletti - Female
Lightning Ridge, elev. 7480ft. elev., Los Angeles County, California, USA
July 2, 2009
Size: ~14mm
Collecting pollen in Phacelia imbricata.
Of the three spp. of Pseudomasaris I observed at Lightning Ridge, the most numerous were zonalis, followed by edwarsii, with just a few coquilletti females. I did not see any males in four visits between June 24 - July 3, 2009.
