Found in the short grasses and gravel beside the roadside in a pine forest. We chased it for several minutes, until it tired, then got photos of it with wings folded. ID by Glassberg's "Butterflies Through Binoculars," and Kaufman's "Butterflies."

After it tired, I was able to capture it by hand for other photos. It was released, and, after resting awhile, flew off.
