Size: around 45 mm
I'm not much good with dragon or damsel flies... This reminded me of numerous species inside Genus Libellula though... Yellow-Sided Skimmer maybe? Thanks for the help...

By the way- is this a male? Thanks.

think it's a young male
Compare the appendages with this one. The young skimmers are really easy to overlook.
