when I put this obvious Proctacanthus rufus into P. heini?

Robber Fly
I'd say robber fly eating carpenter bee, but I'm not good with bees.

 
Bumble bee.
Prey is bumble bee (note hairy, triagular face), but it is indeed a large robber fly making a meal out of it.
