tarantula hawk
Looks like this Pepsis, but it's probably a different one. This one appears to have fatter antennae than yours. I think it's safe to call it a tarantula hawk, even safer, spider wasp.


 
It is not Pepsis...
probably Entypus, but narrowing down to species is much tougher in Texas than here in my area in the east. It's probably not possible to ID from this image.

 
Pompilid -- Entypus sp.?
Definitely a spider wasp, I'm leaning towards Entypus which I occasionally see here in Houston. Hopefully one of our pompilid guys will see this.
