Men's Room Moth at SANWR - Prochoerodes olivata

Men's Room Moth at SANWR - Prochoerodes olivata
Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge, Hidalgo County, Texas, USA
July 19, 2009
I was freshening up at the SANWR men's room, before hitting the trails for the NABA count, when I spotted this moth. Distinctive, but not one I have seen before, and cannot find it in my LRGV moth guides by Knudson and Bordelon. Hopefully somebody out there will recognize it... My tendency, much discussed at Dragonfly Days, for finding interesting insects in and around men's rooms, seems to be continuing.

Moved
Moved from Prochoerodes. Thanks Bob! CB replied to my TX-Butterfly post with the same diagnosis. The book claims it is the "most common of the larger geometrids in the Valley", but I think this is the first I've seen, certainly the first I've photographed. The photo in the book is much darker and less yellowish than this one, I guess mine must be pretty faded...
