Horn's Tiger Beetle - Cicindelidia hornii

Horn's Tiger Beetle - Cicindelidia hornii
Dog Canyon, Otero County, New Mexico, USA
July 20, 2009
This from Dr. C. Barry Knisley. "Bob: Excellent.... It is hornii and a hard tiger to find. Usually quite ephemeral, out after rains but not too long. They also come in blue and green forms, but probably mostly black in NM."
