Looks like a pentatomid...
I can't really tell from this angle, but seeing the spines it might either be a Euschistus or Podisus spp.
An expert might be able to tell whether it's predatory or not from this angle by looking at the rostrum.

I am not the expert you were looking for...
but this is a Rice Stink Bug (
Oebalus pugnax
)
Please notice the spines are pointing forward which is diagnostic...

Mike-- BG people are addicted to challenge, no question about that, but if you want reliable IDs try to take/post more canonical angles, too...

I am experimenting with a new
I am experimenting with a new set of diopters and finding that the lenses on one hand do a very good job with a straight on shot of the subject. However, if the subject is positioned oblique to the camera the depth of field isn't good.
That being said the shot I submitted above was the only clear shot, the rest were deleted. Today I shot a dorsal view of another individual that appears to be of the same specie and I would like to add it to the comment box. How is that done?

Something went wrong I added
Something went wrong I added the image but it replaced the original. Then I frassed both images, then brought 'em back. string of comments are under the added photo, not under the original. It is a fine mess I've gotten myself into.

Fix...
I swapped the images back. I unlinked the images because the images are not of the same individual. I also added the thumbnails that I mentioned in an earlier comment.
