Goldenrod gall fauna - Asphondylia solidaginis

Size: Pupa 2 mm, gall 4-4.5 mm
A different view, so you can see how it fits inside the gall:

I have found some pupae without the abdomen. Somebody must have eaten them after the pupa had formed. Or perhaps those are the remnants after the adult made eclosion.
