Size: 10-15 mm
I'm venturing my first guess to species using the guide, but my knowledge of technical terms is very limited. This is a female, correct? Thanks for your help.

definitely a Melissodes female
certainly looks like bimaculata but I'm not certain

this is mostly an eastern-US species but it is known from Boulder and Brighton in CO.

 
County location
Jefferson county is due south of Boulder county, and as far west.
Maybe it's still a possibility?
