Xylobiops basilaris.
This is the "red-shouldered bostrichid," Xylobiops basilaris. Thanks for the images. This is a very common insect at lights at night in the eastern U.S.

Thanks! I thought it couldn't be too rare, but I looked for about 15 min and I didn't find it.
