Tropidosteptes palmeri

Tropidosteptes palmeri
Chantilly, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
July 23, 2009
Size: ~ 4.0 mm
Length of rostrum: ~ 1.2 mm

It matches with the keys given by Blatchley and Knight, but not by Kelton. Its size is smaller than those described by the above authors and thus I think it does not match with the Kelton's key. However, except for the size, it satisfies almost all the descriptions and so I am sure of the ID.

Attracted to outdoor light.
