Size: ~5 cm
Leaf mine on leaflet of wild sarsaparilla (Aralia nudicaulis) in undergrowth of old pine plantation. View of upper surface of leaflet. From past advice from Charley Eiseman, I suspect agromyzid fly larvae, but I wonder if the host plant ID helps the insect species ID?
