Beetle - Isomira sericea

Beetle - Isomira sericea
Wachusett Mountain, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA
July 25, 2009
Size: 5-5.5 mm
Isomira?

yes -- good call!
Moved from Beetles.

Common
This is about the fifth of the genus I have posted to the guide this summer and I've seen a bunch more which seemed too redundant to post. Eventually they start to look familiar.

Looking back at my archives, this species is one of the first I photographed when I got a new macro lens in 2007. Also on Queen Anne's Lace in late July.
