Tiger Beetles of West Virginia By Thomas J. Allen and Robert E. Acciavatti West Virginia Department of Natural Resources, 2002
At 31 pages, this may be the most slender book listed in Bug Guide. Still, it has a state checklist for West Virginia, some nice photos of the kinds of habitat liked by different Tiger Beetles, a two-page spread picturing small photos of all twenty West Virginia species, and a description of each species (with larger photo).
