Size: approx 2"
Residential garden, SW flank of Huachuca Mountains, oak-grassland interface.
Wasp was feeding/hunting on grape ivy.

Agree with Dr. Olson who is a staff entomologist at UA. This species does occur in the southwest, and is the only known species in this genus. Please create a new guide page for this beauty. Great find Robert.

That is one of those ichneumon wasps that poses as a tarantula hawk. Nice find!
