Judiola instabilis and montiv
Judiola instabilis and montivagans are very similar creatures and often confused with one another. One character I look for is whether the submedian band reaches the midline. If it doesn't (as in your second picture)then I would suggest it is instabilis. J. montivagans is also somewhat narrower in aspect, and the bands (if complete) have a jagged appearance. The sub-basal band can be broken into a series of elongate spots.
