Thought It Was A Springtail

Thought It Was A Springtail
Alexandria, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
July 27, 2009
Size: ~2 mm
Until I looked at it on the camera screen. Nope!

Sharpness
Great image. Do you mind telling us how you got it so sharp? I have trouble with sharpness in that size range!

Thanks Peter!
This is my setup, except that now I have a proper Canon flash instead of the generic Sunpack. The camera is a $350 point-and-shoot, several years old now, and the Raynox macro lens and adapter cost $60. I love this setup.

Super macro lens
I got it. It works well on my Canon HD video camera:

Thanks for the recommendation!

Great!!
So excellent that you got it and it works! That video is awesome - I love jumpers! =)
