Looking at specimen photos, I am relatively certain this is calcar.

To finish what had started, this is probably Atylotus calcar. This species has a long appendix on R4 and grayish markings on the abdomen. The only other species from Arizona would be insuetus, which has at most a short appendix and is without markings on the abdomen, thus being predominantly black. Also, calcar has bicolored antennae.
