Size: about 1.5 inch
Found sandwiched between two leaves that had to be pried apart because the were stuck together by web.
Another individual was in a rolled up leaf, stuck together by web.

Feeding on leaves of a vine called:
Carolina Moonseed, Carolina Snailseed, Coralbead
Cocculus carolinus

Omphalocera cariosa
This is Omphalocera cariosa (Pyralidae). In Illinois, it feeds on common moonseed, Menispermum canadense, which is in the same family as Cocculus carolinus.
