Genus Galasa? - Negalasa rubralis - Male

Size: just under 1 cm
I found this moth outside my apartment door at about 9:15 PM, near the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains. It was flying in circles a few feet above the sidewalk several feet from an overhead light. When it wasn't flying in circles, it took short, fast flights near the ground.

ETA: After consulting Moths of Western North America(1), I am fairly certain it is in the genus Galasa, and that it is a male because of the two indentations along the costa. I am leaning towards Galasa nigrinodis, but it may also be Galasa punctalis or maybe something else?
