Spider ball . . . and stampede

Spider ball . . . and stampede
Elkton, Douglas County, Oregon, USA
May 27, 2009
These spiders were all over the front door and suspended from the awning in large clumps. There must have been thousands of them. I've been watching (and photographing) these spiderlings throughout the yard, and they seem to be growing into cross spiders.
