This a female of Eriozona (Megasyrphus) erraticus!
The species has been placed in several different genera (Eriozona, Megasyrphus, Didea)but if I look in the manual of Nearctic diptera it has been called Eriozona erraticus, so maybe Bugguide wants to place it there!

Actually it is the species laxa, erratica is only palaearctic as far as I know.. even if it is cited as errarticus in the manual...
