P. gentilis ?
Hi Martin, I had another Paracantha from same city ID'd as P. gentilis. There are notes under this image. Do you agree, or is this the specimen above a different species? Also, wanted to be sure that lack of orange "tail" equals female, tail equals male.

Sorry I was a bit lazy to check on the species level... but it turns out to be culta. and the long tails are the ovipositor, making the one females, while the males have the short abdomen...nice pics!

Is Paracantha I sent you the thumbnail for (Photo#308819) correctly ID'd as P.gentilis? both sets of pics were taken in the same city, and I took a bunch more Paracantha images in a 3rd location yesterday, not yet posted. Is there a chart online of the different Paracantha wing patterns that I could refer to?
