a Red Milkweed Beetle.

 
this one is confusing
I'm hoping it's Tetraopes tetrophthalmus, so I can peg KS on that map, but.. it has red on the legs, and banded antennae. The spots look more like Tetraopes tetrophthalmus, but the other stuff more like Tetraopes femoratus. I've got notes on one of the other images.
