'Green' Blue Milkweed Beetle - Chrysochus cobaltinus - Male Female
Off Tassajara Rd, near Jamesburg, Santa Lucia Mountains, Monterey County, California, USA

A number of these glossy beetles were on leaves of the milkweed Asclepias eriocarpa near the ecotone between a grassy field and Oak Woodland at approximately 1700' elevation.
