Leafhopper nymph - Planicephalus

Leafhopper nymph - Planicephalus
Tiverton, Newport County, Rhode Island, USA
August 5, 2009
A Deltocephalus flavocostatus nymph perhaps. Helochara communis was the only other species that was abundant in the area, and that is obviously not the one. Some unidentified nymphs in the Deltocephalus genus do look close. Out of the hundreds of hoppers that swarmed that area of my lawn, only two adults made up that number.

Thanks!
I suspected this association, but the only nymph I had associated with Deltocephalus flavocostatus was all brown ... probably another species mixed in with the adults.
