Small bee - Perdita

Small bee - Perdita
Borrego Springs, San Diego County, California, USA
March 30, 1996
Size: very small
This small dark bee was on Brown-eyed Eveningprimrose (Camissonia [=Oenothera] claviformis, Oenagraceae) at Hoberg Canyon. The wing venation is almost impossible to see, but it seems that possibly I can make out the short marginal cell of Perdita.

Thanks so much, Dr. Ascher. I was thinking Perdita, but possibly Dufourea because of the dark color, since a few of them also go to this eveningprimrose.
