Bue Dasher
Well, Ron Hemberger just set me straight on one of my photos, and I came across this one looking for comparison. This photo shows, I think, characteristics of a male Blue Dasher,
Pachydiplax longipennis
: black tip to the abdomen, amber patch at base of hindwings, green eyes, and black tip to the abdomen. I think it is also much more slender than the Western Pondhawks we have in the guide:
