Range
primarily in the Old World; most diverse in the Palaearctic, Afrotropical and Oriental Regions (absent in S.America)(3); in NA, much more diverse in cooler and w. montane areas; only 3 genera represented south of the US border, Eremocoris being by far the most speciose in Mexico(1)
