Euchromius ocelleus or californicalis ? - Euchromius

Attracted to lights. Based on the information in Powell and Opler, page 183, and the Strickland Museum here, if I am reading it correctly, there seems to be conflicting information on the identification (i.e., amount of curve or straightness in the parallel lines and amount of white at the edge of the wing). Any clarification welcome.
