Chicken coop jumper - Phidippus audax - female

Chicken coop jumper - Phidippus audax - Female
Dekalb County, Tennessee, USA
This type of pattern is known as "bryantae" color form, with the colored scales along the sides of the abdomen. The audax in the TN region seem to often have tan coloration as opposed to the typical white, while those in North-central Florida tend to have orange abdominal markings as juveniles and adults. The bryantae forms seem to always have the carapace markings as well.
