I didn't pay enough attention to the size. Sam, is that an accurate head-to-wingtip measurement?

Well, it might have been 8mm (5/16") but somewhere in that range. It came to the porch light along with quite a few others. There were probably 15 or so of them around the light.
But, as far as accuracy, I did not physically measure it with a tape measure. However, you can see in the picture on the left side, the white area on the wall is the concrete seam between bricks, which is around 1/4"-3/8" wide, and the caddisfly is not any bigger than that.

This looks like...
Potamyia flava, but some of the confirming details are either hidden or obscure in the photo.
