Subgenus Pyrobombus
It is indeed a bumble bee (subfamily Bombinae), and I'd say it is in the genus Bombus, subgenus Pyrobombus, which tend to have orange like yours does (http://bugguide.net/node/view/240705/bgpage). I can't ID it down to species though.
