Interesting Wings - Euthera setifacies - female

Interesting Wings - Euthera setifacies - Female
Alexandria, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
August 9, 2009
Sitting at my desk last night, I felt something bounce off my head, then this fly landed on my keyboard. I already had camera in hand, taking pictures of patient longhorn beetles, so I shot the fly, too. I haven't seen one quite like this before - what is it?

Oh yes -
it definitely resembles that. Thanks!

I would agree...
This looks a lot like the [i]Euthera/i] I found but I had to go crawling though the woods to find mine :)

This one
bonked me on the head before appearing on my computer keyboard.
