Type of Wasp With Yellow and Black - Symmorphus canadensis

Type of Wasp With Yellow and Black - Symmorphus canadensis
Brighton, Livingston County, Michigan, USA
August 10, 2009
This little guy was fast so I only got one pic. It was mostly black with thin yellow lines. Was shaped a little like an ant, but I believe it is a wasp

Moved
Moved from Symmorphus.

Moved
Moved from Potter and Mason Wasps. Probably S. canadensis.

I looked at the three species
I looked at the three species of this and I know which one it is now by the backside. I remember it. I am moving it over there now. Thank you for the help

Moved from ID Request.

Great pic.
I don't seem to get very lucky with these...The streamlined shape suggests the genus Symmorphus.

Check Eumeninae
The folded wings suggest Vespidae. The shape of the abdomen could point to subfamily Eumeninae(1).
