Identification
Forewings are pointed. Upperside is dark brown with darker rectangular spots. Hindwing usually has white fringe. (ref = cite:1179096, but link bad)
Range
Found from Panama, north through Central America and Mexico to central Texas. Strays can be found up to southern Arizona. (1)
Season
Adults are on wing from February to November. There are three generations per year. (1)
Food
Larva: feed on young leaves of Texas Ebony (Pithecellobium flexicaule); [cite:1179096] young leaves of Ebenopsis ebano; (1) Blackbrush (Acacia rigidula) (Berry Nall)
Adults: feed on flower nectar. (1)
